Such a nice day again! I have figured out that it has been a week since I have moved from or left my house... Not good. (I am pretty peeved that I cannot get the hang of revising in the sun.)

HOWEVER - this time in 3 weeks and I will have been a free lady for 2 days! HURRAH!
I am finding it hard to contain my excitement!!

I think I might have found myself a sneaky little job as well, I shall update on that front on Monday.

Habits

It's raining, it's pouring. British weather at it's finest! Alas, the sunny weekend was too good to last. The usual little stint I guess.

In the aftermath of seeing the Glastonbury lineup this year I frantically googled "Glastonbury win tickets" til my heart was content last night and entered around fifteen various competitions. It looks so DAMN good!

I'm dreaming of post-exams when I can start DIYing clothes and all that malarkey. I have a tie-dying session in mind. Has anyone got any ideas pour moi to do?

I failed at revision yesterday. Every time I read a textbook or something along those lines, I would konk out within ten minutes. I wasn't even tired!? Let's see how today goes...

I just needed to let my head air...

I think I mentioned a while back about a friend who I met whilst I was in inpatient care...and she is now 19, readmitted herself by choice to a different unit. I wrote to her for a while, but then I never heard anything back so I decided to stop, in case it was triggering her or having a negative effect.

I finally heard from her yesterday morning. It turns out that on March 14th her body shut down, she went into cardiac arrest three times and had a stroke. This is all due to re-feeding syndrome. The Doctor's managed to revive her and she is currently on bedrest and temporarily (touch wood) paralysed from the waist down. She is recovering slowly.

I am absolutely mortified, horrified, and in shock that this has happened.

She is such a beautiful girl, with so much to give, and ironically, she has a passion and great talent for sport.
I love you so much, you know who you are - you are a fighter and you will pull through this.

I am making you a weekly parcel, to help you keep your mind busy and letter's too! I will be up to visit as SOON as I am able to get up there.

Maybe I will start picking the phone up more often?

I hate answering the home phone but yesterday afternoon I was the only one home so I had to answer it. Turned out it was my grandparents who had gone to Paris for a sneaky getaway. They were ringing to tell me they'd lost one of their bank cards and sounded very stressed and upset. I told them I'd see if I could try and cancel it for them, and I managed to do it....and voila! I got offered the perfume of my choice in return.

Good deeds for good deeds.

Second to the right, and straight on till morning.

I am currently wandering off into endless daydreams, imagining how life will be in exactly six weeks time. My exams have not even started yet, but I can depict that they will flood and leave me before I realise it.

This summer I would like to:
1. Find a job
2. Pass my driving test
3. Scrub up on my knowledge of the French language
4. Tidy up my accent (teach myself RP!)
5. Hoard til my hearts content, in preparation for university
6. Read, read and read some more (I am looking forward to 1984, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland)
7. Watch films and not feel like I am wasting my time
8. Reinvent myself

I guess having fun and PASSING MY GOD DAMN A-levels is amongst those criteria as well.

I also highly recommend that if you have access to BBC iPlayer, that you watch South Pacific, which is this new wildlife documentary series. It's on a par with the Blue Planet. Incredible.

Sound familiar?

"Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."

I know I can relate to this quote. I'm pretty sure that anyone who is reading this can. Feel free to post anonymously anything you want to get off your chest.

“Victory is sweetest when you've known defeat.”

I'm having a nice lazy morning to myself. I woke up at 10, and since then I have just been doing the rounds ond all the news websites and educational blogs I need to read for my A Levels. Ha. Yes, I do care about what grades I get.

Are any of you guys doing exams or have exams coming up soon? How are they going/how are you feeling?

I have the dentist later for the first time in over two years. I have no reason for why I have not been for so long.

A few girlfriends and I are going to Bulgaria in July. We are staying on the Sunny Beach resort...which to be honest, appears to look a little like Blackpool abroad, but hey, I really couldn't care less. I am extremely overdrawn when it comes to enjoying myself and my particular lack of it lately.

I am finding the moon particularly fascinating at the moment, and watching it's position change and the sky's different mood each night. Why don't you try it?

p.s. I keep on having a reoccuring dream where i damage my back in some way or other. I cannot find ANY analysis on this. Help?
p.p.s. LEO GET SKYPE!!!

IT'S ALRIGHT TO BE MEAN

It's Saturday night and I get the train up to London to go and see MSTRKRFT who were playing at the O2. After one heck of a a tube/bus journey (due to the Jubilee line being down) we arrive at the O2 and are surrounded by lots of your stereotypical butch lesbians. I do not mean to offend anyone by this term! But y'know what I mean...bagyish trousers, tight tshirt, mohawked peroxide blonde hair and piercings, etc. We then figured out, after all the girls rounding around us in pink tutu's that Pink had just played in the mian O2 arena! It then all started to make sense.

We went for a pre-drink in this bar before we went into Matter and then on in we went.

Such a good set! Crawled in at 8 in the morning and slept all day long. Beautiful. Am glad we had yesterday off for the bank holiday as I was still knackered!
