I hate it. How can one possibly fit all they will need for a week into one small suitcase? It definately tells us about a person's priorities though.
So far, I have a beach towel, sarongs, bikinis, lots of food, toiletries, clothes and lots of shoes (btw I am NOWHERE near done!).
What do I need to take on holiday with me to Bulgaria? I feel a bit out of touch with broadening my horizons past the British coast.

We're gonna sco-or-ore TONIGHT!
I have been watching Grease 2 and my urge for a pair of high waisted stitch-myself-in black pants. has gone up another level. HELP!
P.s. American Apparel disco pants are off limits because (a) the price and (b) too shiny!!

Overwhelmed
Freedom has taken its toll. What the HELL do I do with myself now?
I struggled to decide what to start reading first - I am currently half way through C. Wright Mills 'The Sociological Imagination' which for me is cheating I guess as it isn't exactly moving away from the whole revision theme which is now definately OVER!
It sounds weird, but I already want to prepare for my university course. I am watching documentaries on politics on areas I am completely ignorant about and writing up lists of things I must research, find out about or read.
I do however need to make sure I enjoy myself! I did that this weekend thank God.
Friday night I went to this party just outside of the town I live in, dressed to the nines in sequins and glitter, purely just because I had not been out/dressed up in so damn long. We like the glitter though, even if I did look a little like an 80s drag.
Saturday was greeeeeat! I had managed to get myself and four friends guestlist entry to my auntie's partners new club in London (it's called Cable - www.cable-london.com). I had been perving on the DJ lineups since it opened and stumbled across a BuggedOut! night event on the Saturday after exams had finished with Simian Mobile Disco playing.
My friend Sophie drove us up to London, which was such a good decision, saved us all LOTS of money on the train fare and we also got to get excited and feel like we were going on a mini road trip!!
My friend Rhiannon (Rhiannon and Sophie are the girls I am going to Bulgaria with) was also in the car and we were staying at her friend Katie's in Kentish Town. Got to Katie's, managed to find a perfect parking spot for free right outside her house and then started up the pimms and pasta bake and got readdddy to party!
It was just something different, something new, something...spontaneous/unplanned/structureless. Onwards and upwards from here hopefully. I have set myself goals and challenges to prepare my move out for uni in late September, I will keep you posted on how I do.
(Unfortunately no pictures YET but hang in there.)

SUMMER OF LOVE
AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Exams have finished!!!
Summer has begun, and I am repping the hotpants.
Get ready to watch my summer GO GO GO!
A weekend of partying lies ahead... tomorrow night I am hitting London to go and see Simian Mobile Disco!

"To succeed you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you."
OH HAIII EBAY!
I'm not even joking, hourly checks on ebay for stupid fringed attire is keeping me sane and able to revise. Praise the lord.

Wishing and hoping
So I voted for the first time yesterday! And even made my sister take a picture of me outside the polling station...
I also had my first exam, which went quite well I thought (touch wood), but hey, only six more to go...ONLY!
Two weeks today and I am a free bird! Then I can start writing interesting things again. I am looking forward to getting my life back, I tell you that now.

Such a nice day again! I have figured out that it has been a week since I have moved from or left my house... Not good. (I am pretty peeved that I cannot get the hang of revising in the sun.)
HOWEVER - this time in 3 weeks and I will have been a free lady for 2 days! HURRAH!
I am finding it hard to contain my excitement!!
I think I might have found myself a sneaky little job as well, I shall update on that front on Monday.
